Cats with diabetes mellitus require a specifically selected diet. A precisely balanced, tasty and carbohydrate-controlled diet helps regulate glucose levels and supports the maintenance of optimal physical condition. CAT LOW CARB is specifically designed to meet the needs of diabetic cats and is characterised by deliberately low levels of mono- and disaccharides. CAT LOW CARB presents an adapted content of taurine, essential fatty acids and cell-protecting antioxidants. The shape and structure of the croquette encourages chewing action and has a positive effect on dental hygiene.


Feeding should be done in consistent amounts and with a consistent composition. The frequency of feeding depends on the insulin preparation used and the individual veterinary treatment plan. As a rule, feeding twice a day or giving small portions spread throughout the day with a consistent total amount of food is recommended.
