The dissolving of existing struvite stones is promoted by a low but easily-digestible protein content, a low magnesium content and substances to increase urine acidity. Due to the special recipe, the urine volume increases so that the urinary tract is flushed and the danger of recurrence of struvite stones is reduced. CAT LOW MINERAL meets the high demand of cats for the vital nutrient taurine and leads to a low urine pH-level (6.2 - 6.5). The form and structure of the kibble help to achieve the best palatability, encourage intensive chewing and contribute to regular dental care. CAT LOW MINERAL can be recommended in case of Feline Urological Syndrome (FUS) and is best suited for short and long haired cats.
Attention: CAT LOW MINERAL should not be combined with other acidifying agents unless advised by a vet.

Period of feeding:
5-12 weeks until the urine struvite stones have been dissolved. For reduction of struvite stone recurrence initially up to 6 months. It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Water should be available at all times.
