CAT LOW CARB - Dietetic complete feed for adult cats for regulation of the glucose supply - diabetes mellitus -

Cats with diabetes mellitus have particular demands on their diet. A carefully balanced, protein-rich and low carbohydrate diet helps achieve optimal physical condition and regulate glucose levels. CAT LOW CARB meets this requirement by selecting high-quality meat and using complex, slow-release carbohydrates, like pumpkin and barley. This helps to slow down the usual increase in blood glucose levels after meals and stabilise diabetic patients. CAT LOW CARB has increased levels of taurine, essential fatty acids and cell-protecting antioxidants.

The feeding of the diabetes food depends on the respective insulin intake. It is often recommended that you provide two portions or small portions throughout the day.
